Sheesh -- it's Friday again... where did the bloody week go?... disappeared in a bloody haze of crazy work and mind-numbing fatigue... here's a few random brush drawings to keep the blog hecklers happy (you know who you are ;-) ...hmm, quite pleased with the lines on some of these drawings :-)

Well, well... a bit drawing and colouring has been going down this weekend.... mostly as part of a serious work avoidance routine.... here's two that came out ok -- in two different colouring techniques... back to work, dammit!!! (cracks whip!!)

Random acts of kindness...

The result of this morning's Mugg & Bean session... it seems my creativity and caffeine have a very close relationship...oh, that and good french toast :-)

The dark side of the moon...

A little something from the dark side... ironically drawn in the bright morning sunlight while having a cuppa java at my local Mugg & Bean.

I have to say it was inspired by Jason Bronkhorst's recent brilliant, dark pen and ink sketches... a new Goya in the making? Go have a look, peoples.

Ok, back to being shackled to the drawing board for the day...

Here's some wip samples of one of the work projects keeping me out of trouble all weekend -- cartoon illustrations (about 40), for a series of 8 posters for a big SA health insurance company.

Sketched these little figures up earlier -- I might develop them further... who knows, they may turn out cute :-)

Oh well, that's another Moleskin done and dusted... all full up. Not sure if there's much of merit in it, but I guess that's not the point! Banzai!!

Weekend wipeout...

And we slide into another weekend ... (crash land more likely) ... a bit of a dampener, gotta work most of it. All for a good cause... or at least, I have to keep telling myself that to keep the sanity and enthusiasm intact. :-)

Tried to upload stuff here yesterday to keep up the drawing a day routine, but ole Blogger was being a tad moody again. Some quickie drawings... red ballpoint pen and other random doodle stuff... nothing great.

Working at getting back my drawing mojo... one a day... one a day! Picked up an old brush and this arbitrary sketchy thing was the result. Need to draw with brush more... yes, more brush... more bush... in a rush... uh... getting distracted here.
