Wow -- gotta go with the sketching flow while it's happening, before another drought sets in (that seems the pattern at the moment). Funny -- did a crap-load of work yesterday, and somehow still managed to squeeze in some sketches and drawings... seems like the more free time I have, the less I draw -- does this make ANY sense at all????????????
This morning's theme tune: Janis Joplin belting out her version of "Summertime"... awesome piece of music... and somehow also extremely sad.

300 green bottles hanging on the wall...
Maybe this is the slow painful comeback to the daily sketching routine...who knows? Hey, if Rocky can do it... this should be a piece of cake. Hmmm... as I type this I suddenly have this craving for a large piece of carrot cake (probably not the best thing for breakfast...LOL)
Borrowed the complete ALIEN DVD boxset from my brother this weekend and doing some catching up with some old favourites... still think that the 2nd film, ALIENS, is the best of the lot!
I'm calling it reasearch for my Bughunters comic idea I'm still agonisingly slowly developing... ok, duty calls -- Madam & Eve comic strips to draw! COFFEE REFILL!!!

Come as you are...
I guess this falls under the heading: "Fun comic ideas that'll probably never see the light of day" :-)
Nothing more to report -- trying to wrestle a sudden flu/throat infection into submission... that's about all.
Oh -- here's an interesting website by Paul Gravett -- Articles on Comics and Graphic Novels!
Check it out ... you'll sound even cooler and more knowledgable when next talking s*** over a few brewskis with fellow cartoonists ;-)

Please hold, your blog post is important to us...Please hold...
Sigh... it's been a dry white season lately when it comes to sketches, drawings etc...other than stuff that's pushed by the work/deadline/make a living imperative.
I post herewith some meagre offerings of late... a weird doodle that I messed around with colouring. Anyway, I seem to have a disconnect between masses of ideas in my head and putting them down on paper... as soon as I sit down with pen/pencil/brush.... nada, nothing, crapola!!
Very, very frustrating.

Scribble, scribble, scribble...draw and doodle...
, loo
I just LOVE it when a silly little 10 second doodle of a robot gets a life of its own.
What I HATE is clients who just assume that you will drop everything to do rush work for them, knowing full well they sat on their arses leaving everything until the last minute!
